Lotto waster Michael Carroll has been caught swiping a sarnie and a bottle of cider.
Dad-of-two Carroll, 28, who won the £9.7million jackpot in 2002, appeared before magistrates charged with theft.
He was spotted on CCTV stealing a sandwich and cider worth £11 from a Morrisons in January.
The lotto lout, who is on benefits after frittering away his fortune and wrecking his mansion, said he forgot to pay because he was drunk.
Ex-binman Carroll, of Downham Market, Norfolk, told the court: “I’d had a few drinks and picked up some Strongbow and something to eat and walked out.
"I just wasn’t thinking. I went back and paid later.”
West Norfolk magistrates gave Carroll a nine-month conditional discharge and ordered him
